BIG NOTICE BEFORE YOU READ CHAPTER "E": Read this chapter, but don't take it as advertising of this software: it's not an advantage of this software. Simply, it is the advantage of today's possibilities of IT.

From a human life point of view, music is too rich, almost endless, regarding to the number of possible strings (the pitch as well as its duration).
But, from computer point of view, regarding to the same topic, music is very "poor" and very simple for composing.
The example below of two number strings, generated by "LvB's X", doesn't appear too complex to be done:
Durations:    3    1    3    1    1    1    1    1     4    (Lengths of notes)
Pitches:        0  -3  +3  -3  +3  -3  +3  +2  +2   (values +/-X are from 0, not from previous index: +3, -3, +2 or...)
But, played simultaneously and repeated two times, it sounds:

One today's computer can compose basic motives of all existing songs, but "as-yet-unwritten-songs" also, for a couple days.
The biggest (and only) problem is shortness of human life to listen "all music".
So, what is the purpose of this software? For sure it is not example above.
It was only a proof to say again: From computer point of view, music is very simple to compose.

Simply, with "Virtual Music Composer", as an unlimited source of "as-yet-unwritten-songs":
-you do not have to know anything about composing;
-you do not have to play any instrument;
-there's no more problem with inspiration/motivation/creative block: "Virtual Music Composer" composes 24/7;
-even, you do not have to know anything about "computing";
For all of us, it is easy to recognize good song. Just listen. When you heard a song you like, you have it already (recorded in .wav and .mid format).

"Virtual Music Composer" has always been under development and will always be under development.
What we are looking for is the identification of rules in music but not described in the existing music theory.
So, not knowing what we are searching for, we believed that a mathematical approach is the only way to find it.
